Meet our key people

Mihaela took over the role of the CEO in the beginning of 2020. She joined Accace in 2007 and started the corporate services practice in Bucharest. She was acting as the Corporate Services Manager untill 2010. Mihaela has always been tempted by new challenges connected with acquiring new markets for Accace. During 2010 and 2011 she was in charge of Accace’s branch in Hungary and helped to perform a successful merger of Accace with a well-established local market player Interbook Kft. For the next 2 years she was responsible for Accace’s operations in Romania managing a team of over 25 experts.

Since April 2012 Mihaela’s responsibilites were increased by taking up the coordination of business development and marketing activities within Accace Group; facing a global expansion challenge. Mihaela has been supervising the Accace’s global expansion team and her personally put in place the entire network of Accace’s Vendors in EMEA region. In 2013 she was appointed Regional Director responsible for supervsion of Accace’s operations in Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey and newly opened branch in Germany. Three years later, Mihaela becomes the appointed Partner for Accace´s companies in Romania.

Mihaela mastered the University of Law in Bucharest, with main field in European and fiscal legislation. She also is a graduate of the National Institute of Attorneys in Romania. Mihaela is a member of Bucharest Bar Association along with being a certified mediator. Mihaela is fluent in Romanian, English and French.

Petr joined Accace in 2010, after 10 years of experience in Deloitte. Challenged by a new opportunity and a great chance to build up a new team, Petr took over the position of Head of Tax and managed to assemble a professional advisory team of more than 30 experts.

In 2013, when provision of consulting and outsourcing services was split between the office in Prague and Brno, Petr was appointed to the Managing Director role responsible for Accace’s office in Prague. He has been taking care of the teams providing tax and accounting as well as legal advisory services via affiliated full-fledged legal firm Accace Legal. In 2016 Petr becomes one of Acacce´s partners in Czech Republic.

Petr holds a LL.M. degree from his studies in Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and is a Czech registered tax advisor, member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and member of International Fiscal Association. Petr is fluent in Czech and English language.

Jana has been with Accace since 2007. At that time she joined Accace to take care of our newly established branch in Ukraine. Jana has managed the local team successfully for almost 5 years. As one of the most experienced experts in Accace, in 2010, Jana was appointed to be in charge of creating Accace’s first shared services centre in Brno. Within few months Jana managed to build up a team of over 30 experts to cover a large scale multi-country outsourcing project. A few years later, in 2016 was established another branch office, this time in Ostrava.

After the outsourcing line of Accace’s business in Czech Republic was moved under the shared service centre in Brno, Jana was promoted to the position of Managing Director of Accace Outsourcing Czech Republic, managing a team of over 170 accountants and consultants.

In 2016 Jana becomes one of the appointed Partners for Accace´s Czech companies. Having an extensive industry experience and a solid background in BPO, finance and payroll Jana remained in charge of our biggest and multi-country outsourcing projects.
Jana is a graduate of the University of Economics in Kiev. Jana is fluent in Czech, English, Russian and Ukrainian language.

Peter has held various positions since joining Accace in 2006 as a Junior Tax Consultant.  Thanks to his deep expertise and growing experience he very quickly became one of the most valuable members of the tax team. As a result he was appointed to the position of Tax Manager and later on in 2013 Head of Tax.

As both, consulting and outsourcing line of Accace’s business were growing stronger, Peter was challenged by taking over the Managing Director position, followed a few years later by his appointment as Partner in Slovakia. Currently he is responsible for management of the biggest branch of Accace helping it to maintain the ranking among the TOP Slovak BPO services providers. The team under his supervision is represented by more than 100 experts in accounting, payroll, tax, IT and legal services.

Peter mastered the University of Economics in Bratislava, main field in management and international taxation. He is fluent in Slovak, English and German.

Having a thorough experience in the management of ERP implementation projects in various European countries, Viktor’s expertise reaches beyond regular IT agenda. He joined Accace in 2012, initially taking over the position of Group IT Manager. The project management and leadership of large-scale employee and manager self-service portal implementation projects fell under his agenda for our global clients. During these years, he has also been actively involved in the development of innovative solutions for BPO, establishing a complete support team of professionals and creating TULIP, a unique international cloud platform for business processes.

Currently, he is one of the partners of Accace and the Managing Director of TULIP Solutions s.r.o.

Viktor acquired his Master’s degree in Applied Informatics in 2004 at the Faculty of Informatics, Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. He is fluent in both Slovak and English language.

Jiří’s professional career is connected with consultancy business for over 20 years. In 1993, together with his university classmate he founded Tacoma – a company ranking today among leading advisory firms in Czech Republic. At Tacoma, Jiří acted as the Partner responsible for the outsourcing service line until 2005.

In 2006 Jiří was tempted to establish his own international outsourcing and advisory practice – and decided to found Accace. Even during past tough years from a worldwide economical perspective, Jiří managed to grow the business and transform a local company to a company with more than 550 professionals and an ever expanding European and global geographical footprint. Jiří’s every day efforts are driven by innovation – his motivation „To be a trend setter, not follower“ has transformed into Accace’s strategy. Apart from his CEO duties he had been supervising the internal IT teams and the development of Accace’s own IT solutions – with the aim to change the future of BPO business. In the beginning of 2020, Jiri has handed over the role of the CEO to his long-term colleague, Mihaela Pašek-Virlan.

Jiří graduated at the University of Economics in Prague in 1996, with main field in accounting. He is a Czech and Romanian registered tax advisor. Jiří is member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and member of the Board at YPO Slovakia.

Before joining Accace, István was acting as the Managing Director of Interbook Ltd., a well established local Hungarian consulting company which used to operate as a part of Ernst & Young’s financial department since 2002.

After Accace and Interbook Kft. merged powers to create Accace Interbook in 2011, István took over the responsibility for the branch management and a team of more than 50 experts.

Recommended by his experience and knowledge of the local market as well as international background of the new brand, Istvan was able to increase volumes of new business rapidly. Having extensive background in finance and BPO Istvan is in charge of the large-scale outsourcing and advisory projects for our clients in Hungary.

István is a graduate of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics with main field in accounting and statistics. He is a member of the Hungarian Chamber of Auditors. Istvan attends the ACCA qualification programme and has a solid knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP. He is fluent in Hungarian and English language. 

Previously Senior Manager for TMF Group, Laura joined Accace as Business Development Manager, her skills being vital for the expansion of our company’s business activities in Romania. After 4 years in Accace, Laura was promoted to the Managing Director role.

Currently, Laura is responsible for coordinating the local team of professionals and developing a cohesive client portfolio in Romania. She has more than 20 years of experience in the professional services industry, being accredited by the Romanian accounting and tax advisors’ bodies, as well as by ACCA.

Laura graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance. Laura is fluent in Romanian and English languages.

Peter Vago became one of Managing Directors of Accace Russia in 2019. Before joining Accace, Peter gained more than 20 years of business development experience, 15 of which working in the leading companies of BPO industry at the territory of Central Europe and the CIS, i.e. InterComp and TMF Group.

His expertise covers such spheres as sales and marketing of outsourcing solutions, clients’ support and relations, PR issues, etc. Peter’s proactive approach and expertise allows him generating new ideas for service delivery solutions.

Peter attended Moscow State Linguistic University and graduated with a Master’s degree in Intercultural Communications. Also  he holds a MBA degree in Strategic Management from Moscow Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. Peter speaks English, Russian and Hungarian.

Přemysl Trojan (Prem) joined Accace in 2019 and leads Accace´s operations of the branch in South Africa focused on market entry consulting and BPO services in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has over 25 years´ experience in finance and advisory services in emerging and frontier markets, with a special focus on Africa.

Prem originally comes from the Czech Republic, where he attended Prague’s School of Economics and graduated with a Master’s degree in International Trade and Economics. During his career, he has held multiple C-level positions at various organizations and worked in different markets in Africa and Central and Eastern Europe, where Accace has its origin.

Prem´s expertise covers international corporate finance, accounting and tax, go-to-market strategies and to name but a few. He is also a start-up enthusiast with an entrepreneurial experience. Prem was actively involved in several market-entry and business turnaround projects ranging from post-acquisition company integration, green field project, global reporting & budgeting system implementation and various market initiatives to complete market entry strategies.

Michelle Martin joined Accace in 2020 and leads the recently established branch in the United Kingdom, focusing on BPO services and market entry consulting.

Michelle is an experienced financial professional with a demonstrated history of working within diverse corporate environments in the UK and South Africa. She has a comprehensive knowledge of finance, risk and control environments, and is focused on business development and streamlining of business processes through digital transformation.

André Hugo joined Accace in 2020 and leads Accace´s operations of the recently established branch in the United Kingdom focused BPO services and on market entry consulting.

Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa, André has worked with UK-based tech-driven entrepreneurial companies for the last 20 years. He brings a broad range of experience to the mix, including overseeing the financial control for multiple businesses and working with teams to develop bespoke financial and operational end-to-end systems within a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.

Michal already had experience with accounting and outsourcing for international companies when he joined Accace in 2007 as a Project Manager. After less than a year he became the Outsourcing Services Manager, responsible for the accounting and payroll departments, set-up of accounting processes within the whole group and establishing a cooperation with a partner in Croatia.

At the end of 2010, Michal accepted the challenge to manage the internal finances of Accace Group as a Group Finance Manager. He and his team successfully unified the rules for accounting and regular reporting. Up to this day, they manage and consolidate the accounting data for approximately 30 entities of Accace.

Since 2016, Michal bears the responsibility for processes, internal audit and security within the whole group as Chief Financial Officer in addition to internal finances.

He graduated from the University of Economics in BA, Faculty of Economic Informatics, Department of Accounting and Auditing in 2001.

Besides being the partner of Accace Advisory in Poland, Piotr is also the leader of a dynamically developing team of tax and legal advisors. Thanks to the unique approach and selection of experts from various fields, Piotr’s team efficiently implements interdisciplinary and multifaceted projects, which often go beyond the scope of conventional tax and legal consultancy or transaction advisory.

Based on his extensive experience, Piotr’s activities are focused on consulting for the real estate, energy and FMCG industries. His main areas are transaction advisory, support in negotiations as well as mergers and acquisitions. He also gained a complex professional experience in these fields while working for one of the Big Four players. His other notable career milestones include a manager position in one of the largest Polish tax advisory companies and being a member of the team advising on the biggest transactions of the Polish real estate market in 2016 and 2017.

Besides his activities as an advisor, Piotr is a member of the National Chamber of Tax Advisors and has extensive experience in teaching, as he has conducted several lectures on tax issues in cooperation with the University of Warsaw and the Tax Law Academic Club. He also acts as a coach at numerous tax trainings and workshops, such as for the French Chamber of Commerce, and is the author of numerous expert publications.

In his free time, he devotes himself to his life-long passion, triathlon.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn and speaks both Polish and English fluently.

Anna joined Accace in 2020 to lead our branch and team in Ukraine while encouraging the growth strategy in the country and the sub-region. Anna has many years of experience in the area of consultancy, being an expert in accounting and finance, and holding various top management positions in BPO businesses.

She started her professional career executing various positions in finance and accounting, tax compliance and payroll. The diverse experience helped her to develop valuable background to start her further professional growth in the field of business process outsourcing. In 2012, she joined the management team of TMF Ukraine to lead one of the accounting departments. She has been supervising and participated in various large-scale ERP and accounting systems implementation and localization projects. After 3 years, she was appointed as Country Head of the company’s branch in Kazakhstan, where she was responsible for the management of the local teams and execution of the company’s growth and business development strategy.

Anna graduated from the Kiev National University of Trade and Economics in Ukraine in 2008, with a degree in economics and finance. Since 2012, she is a student at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). She is fluent in Ukrainian, Russian and English language.
